Attenuated ASF virus

This approach aims at the construction of attenuated ASF virus vaccine strains which have multiple host defence evasion genes deleted. This strategy recognizes the complexity of the porcine anti/ASFV immune response and ensures that almost all the virus proteins are expressed, thus providing multiple mechanisms and multiple targets for immune recognition.

Introduction to Participatory Epidemiology
